Jack V. Valinoti, Associate

Mr. Valinoti is an attorney with AMLG’s Novato, California office. Mr. Valinoti is an experienced litigator with extensive experience in all phases of litigation, including investigation, discovery, motion practice, trial work, and appeals in state and federal court.  Mr. Valinoti routinely drafts and successfully argues discovery motions and motions to dismiss and for summary judgment, and represents clients at motion hearings, settlement conferences, trials, mediations, and arbitrations.  He is adept at client counseling, formulating and implementing litigation strategy, discovery and motion practice, oral argument, and settlement negotiation.

Mr. Valinoti began his legal career in New York City, where he gained experience in products liability, complex commercial, and securities fraud litigation. Since then, Mr. Valinoti has developed a broad commercial litigation practice focusing on general business, collection, contracts, fraud, judgment enforcement, real estate and real property, toxic tort, unfair competition, and asbestos defense litigation.

Mr. Valinoti received a B.A. in Economics from Bucknell University in 1986 and a J.D. from New York Law School in 1991. Mr. Valinoti is the recipient of the American Jurisprudence Award for Legal Writing II and the Justice William Kapelman Memorial Award for Excellence in Oral Argument.

Mr. Valinoti is licensed to practice law in California, New Jersey, and New York. He has been admitted to practice in front of the United States District Courts for the Eastern, Northern, and Southern Districts of California; the Northern District of California Bankruptcy Court; the District of New Jersey; and the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York. Mr. Valinoti has also been admitted to practice in front of the United States Court of Appeals for the Second, Third, and Ninth Circuits.
